About Team Fusion
A Texas-based girls' basketball program built to develop players and put them in front of the coaches who are recruiting them.
Our Story
Why this program exists
Team Fusion is the girls' development and exposure team under SWBS Recruiting (Southwest Basketball Showcase), a coach-led college basketball recruiting service. We are based in Texas and built for players who want to play at the next level.
The program exists because talent gets overlooked without a plan and a platform. Plenty of girls can play. Far fewer have a coach who knows their game, a schedule that puts them in front of college staffs, and someone in their corner who understands how the recruiting process actually works. That is the gap we fill.
We are not a travel team that happens to talk about recruiting. Development is the work, exposure is the point, and the two are planned together — practice schedules, film sessions, showcase entries, and coach communication all feed the same goal. Every young girl deserves the opportunity to shine on and off the court. Our job is to make sure she gets it.
Our Philosophy
Four things we believe
Development before exposure. A highlight reel does not make a college player — reps do. We put in the gym time first, then take the result to the showcase. If the work is not there, the exposure is not worth the trip.
Character over highlight reels. Coaches recruit people, not clips. We hold players to a standard for how they compete, how they handle a bad game, and how they treat teammates, officials, and opponents. That standard is not negotiable.
Earn it in the gym. Playing time, roster spots, and attention are earned in practice, not promised in a meeting. We tell players exactly where they stand and exactly what they need to do about it.
Families are part of the team. Parents make the decisions and live with the schedule. We communicate early, we are honest about cost and time, and we treat families as part of the program — not as spectators.
The Coaching Staff
Who runs the program
The same staff that trains your daughter is the staff that talks to college coaches. No handoffs, no middlemen.
